Crew members are the driving force behind The Amsterdam Throwdown. Without you, there would be no competition, no atmosphere, and no unforgettable weekend.

Judges

As a judge, you are responsible for the fair, safe and consistent execution of exercises during The Amsterdam Throwdown. You maintain movement standards, count and validate repetitions and communicate clearly with the athlete. You remain neutral, focused and professional at all times, even under pressure.

As a judge, you actively contribute to the quality and reputation of the competition and are a visible part of the experience on the competition floor.

Builder

As a builder, you will be responsible for building and dismantling the competition floor and event areas before and after The Amsterdam Throwdown. You will help build, adjust and dismantle rigs, equipment and floor layouts according to the event plan. You work efficiently, safely and as part of a team, often under time pressure.

Your work is essential to the smooth running of the event and to creating a professional and safe competition environment.

Athlete and Visitor support

In this role, you will actively contribute to the experience of both athletes and visitors during The Amsterdam Throwdown. You will assist with practical tasks on and around the event grounds, show athletes and visitors the way, answer questions and jump in where needed to make the event run smoothly. You are proactive, approachable and service oriented.

Your focus will be on creating the best possible experience for everyone in the field and contributing to the overall atmosphere and flow of the event.

Equipment crew

As part of the Equipment Crew, you will be responsible for moving, setting up, adjusting and putting back equipment during The Amsterdam Throwdown. You will work closely with the floor team to ensure a smooth transition between heats and workouts. You act quickly, stay organized and work safely under time pressure.

Your role is critical to keeping the competition on track and delivering a professional, high-quality event experience.

First Aid crew

Are you a certified first aider and want to use your skills during an exciting and energetic event? We are looking for dedicated and experienced first aid volunteers to join our medical team at the Amsterdam Throwdown!

You will oversee the safety of the athletes during the event, provide immediate first aid for injuries, and assess and triage athletes in need of medical attention. You coordinate with emergency services as needed.
